1. About MarketCircle

MarketCircle helps people organise group grocery shopping. Group Leaders can create shopping groups, list groceries, manage requests, track payments, and coordinate shopping trips. Group Members can join groups, request groceries, contribute payments, and track orders.

2. Using the Service

You must provide accurate account, contact, payment, and order information. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your login details secure.

You must not use MarketCircle for unlawful activity, misleading listings, fraudulent payments, harassment, spam, or conduct that harms other users or the service.

3. Group Leaders and Group Members

Group Leaders are responsible for keeping grocery listings accurate, communicating trip details, handling collection or delivery arrangements, and updating members about changes. Group Members are responsible for reviewing item details, paying on time, and confirming any requests before a shopping trip is finalised.

4. Prices, Payments, and Wallets

Prices shown in MarketCircle may include estimated costs before a shopping trip. Final amounts can change because of market prices, item availability, substitutions, quantity changes, payment fees, or refunds.

If wallet, top-up, withdrawal, or payment features are enabled, those features may be provided through third-party payment processors. Their own terms may also apply.

5. Orders, Substitutions, and Refunds

Grocery availability can change quickly. A Group Leader may need to substitute, reduce, or remove items if they are not available or if prices change. Refunds or balance adjustments may be issued where appropriate through the app wallet or another approved payment method.

6. Ratings, Feedback, and User Content

Users may submit ratings, feedback, group names, item details, messages, images, receipts, and issue reports. You must have the right to share anything you upload. We may remove content that is unlawful, abusive, misleading, or harmful. Our Acceptable Use Policy explains the behaviour we expect from users.

7. Service Availability

We aim to keep MarketCircle available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, suspend, or withdraw parts of the service when needed for maintenance, security, legal, or operational reasons.

8. Liability

MarketCircle provides tools for organising group shopping. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate user-provided information, group disputes, unavailable groceries, market price changes, third-party payment issues, or events outside our reasonable control.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as the service develops. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users before or when the changes take effect.
